Eligibility: The Midea Super Spring Sale Lucky Draw Contest (“Contest”) is open to legal residents of Canada, who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry. Minors are not eligible to participate. Employees, representatives and agents (and those with whom such persons are living, whether related or not) of Midea America (Canada) Corp, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies and any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfilment of the Contest are prohibited from participating.
By participating in the Contest, you are signifying your acceptance that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Entry Period: The Contest begins on March 10th, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. (UTC-5), and ends on May 10th, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (UTC-5) (the “Entry Period”). All entries must be received during the Entry Period to be eligible for consideration.

Entry Limit and Conditions:
If it is discovered by Midea Canada that any person has attempted to: (i) exceed any of the entry limits stated in these Terms and Conditions; (ii) use multiple names, identities, e-mail addresses, and/or use any automated, macro, script, robotic or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or to disrupt the Contest; and/or (iii) disrupt or participate in the Contest in any other fraudulent or misleading way, then they may be disqualified from the Contest in the sole and absolute discretion of Midea Canada.
Midea Canada and its respective agents, employees, directors, officers, successors, and assigns are not responsible for, and accept no liability whatsoever in relation to, any late, lost, misdirected, delayed, or incomplete entry information, entry forms, App downloads (if applicable) and/or any other Contest-related information provided by entrants (collectively, “Contest-Related Information”). Contest-Related Information and/or your participation in the Contest may be rejected and/or disqualified, in the sole and absolute discretion of Midea Canada if: (i) the Contest-Related Information is not submitted and received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions during the Entry Period; and/or (ii) the Contest-Related Information and/or participation is not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Note: Prizes will be drawn based on a random draw for all the eligible participants. No exchanges or cash substitutes will be provided for the prize (s). A prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, or convertible to cash. No substitutions are permitted, except at Midea Canada’s option. Midea Canada reserves the right to substitute the prize if any prize is unavailable with a prize of equal or greater retail value, including, without limitation, but solely at Midea Canada’s sole discretion, a cash award. All characteristics and features of a prize, except as otherwise explicitly stated above, are at Midea Canada’s sole and absolute discretion (including, without limitation, applicable model(s) and colour(s) of each prize). The manufacturer’s standard terms, conditions and warranty, if any, applies to each prize.
Winner is fully responsible for any and all applicable taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use which are not specifically included in the prize description above, including, but not limited to, transportation, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner Selection: Thirty (30) winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Before being declared a winner, an entrant will be required to correctly answer a skill-testing question via email, without mechanical or other aid (which may, in the sole and absolute discretion of Midea Canada, be administered online, by email or other electronic means, by telephone). Failure to correctly answer the skills-testing questions may result in disqualification at Midea Canada’s sole discretion.
Verification: All entrants are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. Midea Canada reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to Midea Canada – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification): (i) for the purposes of verifying an entrant’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any Contest-Related Information and/or other information entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason Midea Canada deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest. Failure to provide such proof to the complete satisfaction of Midea Canada within the timeline specified by Midea Canada may result in disqualification.
Notification of Winners: An authorized representative of Midea Canada will notify potential winners via email on Friday, May 30th, 2025, by 11:59 PM UTC-5. The representative will make a minimum of two (2) attempts to contact the potential winner via email. A potential winner is solely responsible for ensuring they are able to receive such notification messages, monitoring for such notification messages and following all instructions contained in such notification messages. If a potential winner: (a) cannot be contacted as set out above, or if there is a return of a notification as undeliverable; or (b) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; (c) cannot accept (or is unwilling to accept) a prize (as awarded) for any reason; and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of these Terms and Conditions (all as determined by Midea Canada in its sole and absolute discretion); then they will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to the applicable prize) and Midea Canada reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion and time permitting, to select an alternate potential winner in accordance with the procedure outlined above (in which case the foregoing provisions of this section shall apply to such newly selected potential winner).
NO ONE IS A WINNER UNLESS AND UNTIL MIDEA CANADA OFFICIALLY CONFIRMS THEM AS A WINNER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Winners hereby agree to the publication, reproduction and/or other use by Midea Canada, of their name, address, voice, statements about the Contest and/or photograph or other likeness (collectively “Winner’s Identification”) without further notice or compensation, for advertising, promotional, trade, and any other purpose by or on behalf of Midea Canada, in perpetuity throughout the world in any manner or medium whatsoever, including print, broadcast or the internet.
Release and Limitation of Liability:
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE MIDEA CANADA AND ITS RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES (the “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST AND YOUR PARTICIPATION THEREIN AND TO INDEMNIFY THE RELEASED PARTIES AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LIABILITIES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST, YOU ALSO AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION COMPLIES WITH ALL CONDITIONS STATED IN THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL BEAR NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER REGARDING: (I) THE USE OF YOUR ENTRY (OR ANY COMPONENT THEREOF); (II) PARTICIPATION IN ANY CONTEST-RELATED ACTIVITIES; (III) ANY USE, COLLECTION, STORAGE AND DISCLOSURE OF ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION; (IV) THE USE OF WINNER’S IDENTIFICATION; AND/OR (V) IF DECLARED A WINNER, THE PRIZE (INCLUDING ANY USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE). THE RELEASED PARTIES SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY YOU IN THE EVENT IT IS DISCOVERED THAT YOU HAVE DEPARTED FROM OR NOT OTHERWISE FULLY COMPLIED WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (AS APPLICABLE). THIS RELEASE AND INDEMNITY SHALL CONTINUE IN FORCE FOLLOWING THE TERMINATION OF THE CONTEST AND/OR AWARDING OF ANY PRIZE.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant hereby warrants and represents that any Contest-Related Information they submit does not contain any reference to any identifiable third parties, and will not give rise to any claims whatsoever, including, without limitation, claims of infringement, invasion of privacy or publicity, or infringe on any rights and/or interests of any third party.
Privacy: Any personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Contest and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant's consent, except as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions and as required by law. By participating in the Contest, entrants consent to the use of their personal information for these purposes and in accordance with Midea Canada’s privacy policy available here.
All Contest-Related Information remains the sole and exclusive property of Midea Canada and can be revoked or invalidated by Midea Canada at any time and for any reason. For greater certainty and the avoidance of any doubt, entrants will not be granted any type of rights (including without limitation property rights) in or to Contest-Related Information.
Jurisdiction: In case of dispute, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and any other applicable federal laws and the dispute shall be submitted exclusively to the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the rest of the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and all decisions of Midea Canada, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
