Midea Launched 0.5 PK Inverter AC that Saves Energy
Midea launched the Split Inverter Series AC with a capacity of ½ PK which has the latest technology to save more electricity.
Jakarta, September 5, 2024 - Home electronics manufacturer, Midea Electronics Indonesia, launched the Split Inverter Series AC with a capacity of ½ PK. This air conditioner product has the latest technology that makes it more energy efficient.
Antonius Widjaja, Head of Product Division Midea Electronics Indonesia, said that Midea answers the needs of household consumers in Indonesia for AC that is durable and energy efficient. According to Antonius, this AC with a capacity of ½ PK can be a new choice for consumers, after the previous Midea 1 PK Inverter AC was successful in the domestic market.
The Midea Split Inverter AC is equipped with an iECO Mode feature that keeps the AC cool for 8 hours with an electricity usage of only 1.18 kWh (equivalent to around Rp. 1,000 per hour). With the same daily usage time, the Midea Inverter AC is twice as efficient as similar products that cost up to 2.8 kWh of electricity.
"Energy-saving technology embedded through the features of every Midea electronic product, especially AC, is also one of our real steps to support the program that continues to be promoted by the government, namely regarding energy savings," said Antonius, at the launch of the Midea Split Inverter Series AC, in Jakarta, Thursday, September 5, 2024.
The performance of the Midea Split Inverter AC is supported by Quattro Inverter technology which can adjust the working speed of the compressor on the outdoor unit so that the room temperature is more stable. Thus, this ½ PK AC is very suitable for use in rooms in the house such as bedrooms.
Antonius also guarantees that the Midea Split Inverter AC is very durable or long-lasting. This AC is coated with HyperGrapfins and U Bend Coating. HyperGrapfins is a carbon atom layer that is 12.5 times more resistant to corrosion so it is suitable for long-term use. HyperGrapfins coat the condenser part of the outdoor unit which can maintain the resistance of the grid on the condenser from corrosion for up to 20 years.
Meanwhile, U Bend Coating is the two ends of the evaporator coated with environmentally friendly polymers to prevent copper pipes from being contaminated and corroded by air pollutants so that they are safer and more durable.
"We provide a 5-year spare parts warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty for Midea Inverter ACs," said Antonius.
Agusdin Lung, Head of Sales Residential Air Conditioner Midea Electronics Indonesia, stated that the company is optimistic that it will be able to achieve the sales target of Inverter ACs of up to 10,000 units by the end of 2024. This is in line with the plan to open the Midea AC factory in the Jababeka Industrial Area, Cikarang, Bekasi which is targeted to be held at the end of 2024.
