Midea Expands the Service Reach by Opening Direct Service Center in Bekasi.

Jakarta, February 24, 2025 - Leading global electronics manufacturer, PT Midea Electronics Indonesia, continues to expand its after-sales service by inaugurating the Direct Service Center in Bekasi. The presence of this service center aims to reach more customers and provide convenience in repairing and maintaining Midea products.

Direct Service Center is an official service center provided directly by Midea to handle all Midea products. The services available include two main methods, namely home service and carry-in.

Home service is intended for customers with AC, refrigerator, and washing machine products, and technicians will come directly to the house to make repairs. Meanwhile, for Small Domestic Appliances products such as rice cookers, air fryers, and air coolers, customers can bring their units directly to the service center.

"Midea opened a service center in Bekasi to expand the company's after-sales service network and make it easier for customers to access our services," said Jack Ding, President Director of Midea Electronics Indonesia, at the opening of the Direct Service Center in Bekasi, Monday, February 24, 2025.

As of January 2025, Midea has had an extensive service network in Indonesia with a total of 246 service centers spread across 218 cities. Midea's after-sales services consist of three types, namely Direct Service Center, Exclusive Service Center, and Authorized Service Center, which are ready to serve customer needs.

"Until now, Midea has had 11 Direct Service Centers, 16 Exclusive Service Centers, and 219 Authorized Service Centers spread across all major cities in Indonesia," said Leo Ariefyanto, Head of Service Division Midea Electronics Indonesia.

Direct Service Centers like the one that just opened in Bekasi are service centers provided by Midea to repair products and serve customer needs directly.

Exclusive Service Center is an exclusive service from Midea that collaborates with selected service partners and has been officially recognized and granted permission by Midea to repair products and serve all customer needs.

Meanwhile, Authorized Service Center is a service that has been officially recognized and granted permission by Midea to repair products and serve customer needs. ASC is an extension of Midea's service network.

In addition to expanding its service reach, Midea also continues to increase the mobility of its technicians by presenting a service fleet that is ready to serve customers faster and more efficiently. Until 2024, Midea's service fleet consists of service cars, motorcycle services, and training trucks. In 2025, the number of fleets will be increased.

To improve service quality, Midea routinely holds Service Capability Development programs for technicians, admins, and call center agents. Throughout 2024, training has been carried out every month, both offline and online, in various cities with hundreds of participants. For 2025, Midea targets to increase the number of training cities and the number of participants taking part in this program.

With this expansion, Midea Indonesia further confirms its commitment to providing optimal after-sales service and ensuring customer comfort and satisfaction throughout Indonesia.
