1. The lucky draw contest (the “Contest”) is organized by MD (Singapore) Consumer Product Co Pte Ltd (Company Registration Number: 201906062M) (the “Company” or “Midea”). By participating in the Contest, each contestant agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth herein.

2. Eligibility

(a) This Contest is open to Singapore Citizens, Singapore Permanent Residents and Singapore Residents (with an employment pass or work permit or long-term pass which is valid at the time of the contest period. Strictly eligible for contestant aged 18 years and above as stated on their Identity Card/Passport only.

(b) By participating in this Contest, each contestant warrants and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All rules and regulations and instructions issued by the Company from time to time will be deemed incorporated in these Terms and Conditions.

(d) To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria as stated herein at any time (with or without notice or reason) and/or determine at its sole discretion whether any contestant should be excluded from entering or participating in the Contest.

(e) To qualify for this Contest, contestants must:

(i) Purchase any Midea products (mix and match) worth $499(include GST) and above; and

(ii) Purchase(s) is/are made during the promotion period from 1^st December 2023 to 31^st March 2024; and

(iii) Enter Contest Landing Page (https://forms.gle/nnDHzFhR84rF8oMVA) to fill in all required information:

● Full Name (as per NRIC)

● Local Contact Number

● Email Address

● Purchase Date

● Upload Clear Photo of Product Serial Number

● Upload Clear Photo of Tax Invoice / Sales Order Confirmation / Receipt

3. Contest Period

This Contest will commence on 1^st December 2023, 00:00 hrs and end on 31^st March 2024, 23:59 hrs GMT +08:00 (“Contest Period”).

4. Contest Mechanics

(a) The Contest mechanics are as follow:

Within 1^st December 2023, 00:00hrs to 31^st March 2024, 23:59hrs, purchase any Midea products (mix and match) that are worth $499(include GST) and above from any authorized retailers to participate the Contest.

(b) Monthly lucky draw prizes list as follow:

(i) Grand prize – 5 Day 4 Night Round Trip Air Tickets From Singapore to Yunnan China: 3 winners per round

(ii) Second prize - iPhone 15 Plus 128GB: 5 winners per round

(iii) Third prize - Midea Robot Vacuum Cleaner (MVC-I5C): 10 winners per round

(iv) Fourth prize – Midea Microwave (MMO-EG930MX): 20 winners per round

(i) Only Grand Prize Winner has the option to exchange the prize for a cash amount of SGD$1500.

(ii) Grand, Second, Third and Fourth prizes must be utilized or collected on and before 15 May 2024. All Lucky Draw Prizes are not transferable.

(iii) Please be informed that flight fare is dynamic pricing, bookings are subject to availability upon redemption. Appointed travel agent and fares variances are to be top up by prize winner if any.

(iv) Lucky Draw Grand Prize is included travel insurance, visa, airport transfer, food, baggage services but excluded all other travel expenses or additional services or charges incurred.

(v) For Grand Prize, winners have to make an appointment by email to marketing.sg@midea.com to redeem air tickets which issued by Midea appointed travel agent. Upon receiving the air tickets, travel bookings are to be done directly with the appointed travel agent. For matters pertaining travel cancellation, amendments, extension, deviation/alteration from travel itinerary and general matters relating to Tours are subject to policies of appointed travel agent.

(vi) Winners are deemed to agree with and be bounded by the terms and conditions from the appointed travel agent.

(vii) The prize(s) may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and each winner agrees to comply with all such additional terms and conditions.

(viii) Midea reserves the right to, at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion, replace and/or substitute any of the Prize(s) with any other item of a similar value.

(ix) Midea and its associated travel agent shall not be held liable to any cost incurred by winner:

· Lost/misplaced/damaged air ticket

· Travel cancellation, postpone, extension, deviation from itinerary

5. Submission method:

(a) To participate in the Contest, go to Midea Official Website Promotion Page at https://www.midea.com/sg/promotion click on the Midea Yearly Lucky Draw Registration Form to fill up the personal particulars such as full name (as per NRIC), email address, and contact number.

Participate must upload the clear picture of their Tax Invoice / Sales Order Confirmation / Receipt and Product Serial Number (Start with S/N, 22 characters made up with numbers and alphabets), and key in the purchase date.

All these personal information given will kept confidential with Midea and in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act. Please kindly refer to our privacy policy at https://www.midea.com/sg/privacy-policy

(b) Participate with incomplete / inaccurate / ineligible entries will be disqualified from the Contest without any notice.

(c) Single invoice/ receipt is entitled to one (1) contest participation only. Multiple entries of the same receipt will be counted as one (1) submission only.

(d) Each successful entries will stand a chance to win Midea lucky draw.

(e) By submitting and/or participating in this Contest, the participates are deemed to have consented to:

(i) the collection, use and disclosure of his/her name, identification/passport number, image, voice and/or likeness by Midea for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without any payment and/or compensation except where prohibited by law; and

(ii) receiving promotional, marketing, and other publicity information from Midea from time to time.

6. Contest Period

Monthly Lucky Draw:

(a) Purchase date (As per invoice): 1^st December 2023 to 31^st March 2024

(b) Delivery date: Must be within 1^st December 2023 to 10^th April 2024

7. Notifications of lucky draw winners:

Each round of the lucky draw winners will be announced on Midea Singapore Official Website (https://www.midea.com/sg). Please contact Midea Redemption Centre via E-mail(marketing.sg@midea.com) or WhatsApp(80679609) within 14 days after the Winner Announcement Date to arrange the prize redemption.

Each winner is required to sign Prize Collection Acknowledgment Form upon prize redemption.

8. Prize Collection Deadline:

Each winner must respond or contact to Midea within 14 working days from the date of the winner announcement.

(a) For 1^st Round Lucky Draw winner must redeem prizes before 15 February 2024.

(b) For 2^nd Round Lucky Draw winner must redeem prizes before 15 March 2024.

(d) For 4^th Round Lucky Draw winner must redeem prizes before 15 May 2024.

Winners of each respective Lucky Draw is ineligible to claim prize after Prize Collection Deadline above mentioned.

Midea remains the right to forfeit the entitled prize(s) if there are no contact or response within 14 working days of Winner Announcement Date or prizes are not collected within the prize collection deadline.

9. Documents for Prize Collection

Documents required for prize collection, each winner is required to bring along:

(a) Proof of purchase, including physical original Tax Invoice/Sales Order Confirmation/Receipt.

(b) Cut off Serial Number from carton box or soft copy of the Serial Number.

(i) The prizes are to be collected by the winners in person and should the winners be unable to collect the prize in person, a Letter of Authorization is required.

(ii) Letter of Authorization should include date, name of authorizer, name of person whom it has been authorized and the identify card/passport number and original signature of the authorizer.

(iii) During the prize collection, Midea reserves the right to forfeit prizes if there is any misleading, false, tampered, or wrong information submitted.

(iv) All prizes are required to do self-collection at Midea Singapore Official Showroom located at 151 Lorong Chuan New Tech Park (Lift Lobby E) #04-05 Singapore 556741.

(v) Collection of prizes are strictly on appointment basis only.

10. Other Terms:

(a) By participating in this Contest, each contestant agrees and consents that in any personal data given by him/her to Midea is accurate and allow us to use it for marketing purposes in organizing, conducting, managing, and administering this Contest.

(b) All the successful entries will be kept confidential with Midea.

Suspected of fraud; or

Dishonest with the given information of the invoice details and product serial number during the prize collection, Midea will forfeit their winning prize.

(d) Midea’s artworks shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary due to product enhancement. Midea reserves the right to change the product images and any specifications at any time without prior notice.

(e) Midea reserves the rights to revise any of the terms under these terms and conditions (including but not limited to varying the Campaign Period, Lucky Draw dates, or Prize collection Deadline), or withdraw or alter any part of this Contest at any time without prior notice and/or assuming any liability to any party.

(f) The above terms and conditions of this Contest will be construed, governed, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

(g) The decisions of Midea on all matters relating to or in connection with the Contest are final, conclusive and binding. Midea shall not be obliged to give any reason or enter any correspondence with any person on any matter concerning the Contest.

(h) Midea shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of, or in connection with the Contest and/or redemption or use of the Prizes howsoever arising, including but not limited to, fulfilment of the prize(s), any error in computing chances, any breakdown or malfunction in any computer system or equipment, any notice which is misdirected and/or lost in the post, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, or suspension by Midea of this Contest shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against shall for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

(i) In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Contest, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

(j) A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap 53B) to enforce any terms of such agreement.
