Smart Connect is worth it!

Got this after our old dryer gave out and this is so much better than our old dryer. The ability to connect through the Smart Home app and remotely monitor how much time is remaining make it so I’m doing way less trips running up and down the stairs holding our child. I was probably a little too excited to see there was a light that comes on when you open the dryer because our old one didn’t have that.
I had written a review before, but I hit send a little too quickly like I love the new system

The dryer drum is huge and dries everything evenly

I recently got this dryer because my old one stopped working. The drying drum is massive and I couldn't believe how much it fits. I just washed my entire bedding set (duvet cover, fitted sheet, and pillow cases), put it all into the dryer, and it was done within an hour! This dryer runs pretty quietly, dries everything nice and evenly, and I like that the control panel is set up in almost the exact same way as its washing machine counterpart. I also downloaded the SmartHome app, which tells me when the drying cycle is done on my phone. I also like that it allows me to delay the cycle start time, which I've been using to start it exactly when off-peak electricity rate hours begin. No bad things to say about this dryer!

Big and easy to setup if you know what’s missing

I want to give it 5-stars but there are a few shortcomings.
Overall, the dryer is big and seems efficient. Due to the extra space the laundry comes out fluffier than our old dryer. Controls are easy to use and the app was simple to setup. Really like that you can quickly make your own custom program on the panel as well as download another custom program onto the dial.
The small shortcomings -
The manual is missing a couple things regarding swapping the door. The door frame actually has six tabs (not five per the manual). The manual also doesn’t mention putting the door back together or moving the door lock/clip - it’s almost as if there’s a page missing.
The drum has a large seam in it (I’m not sure that’s in all dryers now but this is the first time I’ve ever seen that. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t hide it under a fin.
The feet adjustment - I don’t have an open end wrench large enough and I cannot turn the feet by hand to adjust (unfortunately the delivery/installers didn’t level the machines) so I’m currently using a wood wedge to level one foot. Don’t really want to use channel lock on the feet because they’re plastic so I’ll need to get a larger adjustable wrench for that.

It’s been 2 months since I got this dryer. I’m quite happy with it’s performance, it dries really well as you would expect. The inside is quite spacious. I do like the black button panel it’s simple and easy to use. I wasn’t able to give it 5 stars because of the door, I just find it to be a bit hideous. This dryer would’ve been perfect with a glass door to match the washer. It’s still a good dryer to consider if ever you’re in need.
