It's just so-so

I'm a renter, so I didn't get to have a say in the fridge my landlord decided to buy for my home. I don't have a problem with it making noise like some of the other commenters have experienced. My issue is with the internal design. In order to be able to fit a gallon of milk in this fridge, I had to move a shelf down another notch to make room. Now there is only a small space there between the top of the crisper bin and the next shelf above it. Barely big enough to fit anything unless the item is flat. The only other choice is to remove one of the shelves entirely which leaves one big, gaping refrigerator where things just get thrown on top of each other. It's a poor design.

I got this fridge as a replacement for my 22 year old fridge. It looks very nice but as soon as you open it and settle things on the shelves you see that they aren't very stable, the storage on the side doors is strange and adjusting them almost broke the bottom one. The worst part to me is the ridiculously loud whirring and clanking noise it makes which apparently is normal and constant. I tried to get a replacement or exchange but I'm told it is what it is. I would never purchase any Midea products. I learned my lesson. Trust better known better made brands.

First of all, I was looking for an extra refrigerator because during this pandemic we are stocking on food. We needed a good refrigerator to keep our meat frozen and vegetables in a good condition. This is the perfect refrigerator because it has plenty of space to put a lot of meat and has big bins to put lot of vegetables. It maintains my leftovers in good condition and vegetables fresh. It has a simple look but it does its job really good. It has a really bright light which is nice when you looking for something at night. It has no handles which I like too, handles usually break or become loose over the years so I like that I’ll not have a problem with this one. Overall this is a nice size refrigerator, good for stocking your food during this pandemic. I would really recommend to everybody.

I purchased this product about a year ago. I am very satisfied with its performance and appreciate the simplicity and common sense features. I live off grid and this replaced a propane 18 cu ft refrig / freezer that needed to be manually defrosted and burned propane continuously. This unit only uses around 6 tenths of an amp when running and defrosts itself. Much cheaper to run and less mess. My initial research said it had an inverter type compressor and you could adjust the timing of the defrost cycle. Being off grid, it is nice to run the defrost cycle during the day when the sun is shining rather than at night when i am using battery power. .Be nice to know how to change the time of defrost cycle if that is in fact possible. I think a lot more off grid people will be using Midea electric refrigerators because of the efficiency and the rising cost of propane.

Outstanding product!

Purchased this fridge for our outdoor insulated shed. Fridge does a great job keeping everything good and cold on the base settings. The most impressive part about this fridge is how quiet it is, you can barely hear it running. We are very happy with this product and was very competitive in its pricing! Also had some question regarding the fridge, this company is very responsive and their follow up is amazing…

Very impressed with this refrigerator. It was an easy delivery and setup. Its easy enough to move if I need to. Got cold very quickly and keeps the temperature. Very spacious and the shelves are easy to move and adjust. Lighting is bright also. I can fit all I need, plus more. Even the freezer is very spacious and keeps everything cold. This has been a great addition to our house!

Stopped cooling after only 2.5 years

Bought this fridge in August of 2021. Yesterday my fridge and freezer both stopped cooling. Repair person believes the compressor is the issue and was stunned to discover when looking at our Manual that only 1 year of limited warranty is offered. Please avoid this product as it is clearly not reliable long term as a brand new fridge should definitely last longer than 2.5 years.

We were in need of a refrigerator for our garage, to store extra food, drinks and overflow for parties. This refrigerator is awesome. Its shelves are very well made and durable. It can hold a lot more than I thought for its size. Its easy to setup and clean. Much more energy efficient than what we used to have as well. Overall very pleased with this refrigerator.
