All the units have two stickers on the exterior: One in the rear, one on the right side or both, depending of the model. One sticker with the model number plus information about the unit and another sticker with a bar code and the serial number and which is 22 digit long.

First, confirm that your cooling settings are correct. If your unit has a temperature control knob, the larger number indicates colder settings. The most common cause is the door not closing properly. Check the door seal on the unit to see if it is closing properly. If the door seal closes properly, place a dollar bill between the door seal and refrigerator. Close the door and pull the dollar bill out. If the dollar bill pulls out easily, this may mean either your unit is not level or your hinges are loose.

First, confirm that your settings of your freezer are correct. The most common cause of frost buildup I freezers is the frequency of the door being opened. This causes fresh air to circulate into the unit, causeing more humidity. Check both the door seals to make sure there is no air leaking out.
First, confirm that your settings of your freezer are correct. Check the seal on the freezer. Also, if the temperature of you room drops below freezing, your refrigerator may freeze.

Odors in your freezer can be caused by how food is stored. Some foods have a strong odor, so be sure to cover them tightly. Sometimes odors can also be caused by certain containers and wrapping materials (such as paper, foil, or plastic). If you think this might be the case, try using different containers or a different brand of wrapping material. If food has gone bad, on auto defrosting units, the defrosted water carrying the bad odor sits on the rear defrost water pan until it evaporates, causing bad smells on the rear exterior. After you’ve checked how your food is stored, try cleaning the interior of your freezer with a sponge, warm water, and baking soda.
